Thanks for your recommendations. Attached is an updated
problem report that includes the causes that we’re
choosing to address—at least for now. Run with these
and see if you can come up with feasible solutions to each.
After that, please take precautionary steps that will help
us to avoid a repeat of these problems. Look through the
policy that I sent last week and see where it falls short.
Of course, it’s possible that some sections are complete
and that we’re facing implementation problems. If this
is the case, see where the breakdown occurred and recommend
steps to avoid such a problem in the future. If it’s
in the policy, it should be happening in the network. If
the policy falls short, or if you notice any contradictions
or omissions, recommend how we should change it.
Please prepare a brief presentation for the IT Directors
and execs next week —nothing too formal. Nonetheless,
it should be concise and you should be ready to defend your
work.
