Hi,

I heard you guys will be hunting down our hacker. Our team will be forwarding any help desk inquiries that look suspicious to us, and we’ll include any logs or attachments that we think will help.

We’ll respond to the immediate needs of the complaints based on your advice, so if you have recommendations to give about follow-up we should take, include them in your incident report as well. We’re somewhat inexperienced with business and legal areas here, so some tips there would help a lot, especially with this first problem…

I’ve already called Kathy to reassure her personally, but I’m not certain what C-Bay’s responsibilities are in a case like this. Could you let me know asap?

I received this threatening e-mail yesterday and it has me very upset. I don’t recognize the sender’s e-mail address at all. How should I handle this? Should I contact the police? Please respond as soon as possible. Some colleagues have promised to walk me to my car tonight, and I won’t be staying at home tonight, but I can’t keep that up. I’m really worried.
