Thanks for your help with the Chicago office! You may have heard that
we nabbed the hacker: it was the same guy who was e-stalking Kathy Wright.
But beyond that, it seems like there are a number of personal security
breaches in the firm. It’s high time we planned an education session
to get everyone on board with the new policy. Your next major task will
be to put a brief presentation for the staff, accompanied by a quick-reference
guide.
Before you get started on that, though, I need you to cover the help
desk for a shift. We’ve consolidated our service desk for all four
branches, and I’d like to have our best people working the lines
while we’re cleaning out the bugs. Rather than just advising on
responses, this time you’ll have to respond to the incidents yourself.
I’m sure this experience will give you some good ideas on what
areas you’ll need to focus on for the security awareness program.
I’ll give you more details on that, though, as they develop.
