Emergency Response Procedures |

Our work fortifying C-Bay's security policy and network is almost through,
at least for this round (our job is never really done). We have one more
integral task for now: drafting a step-by-step set of emergency response
procedures.
The first rule in any emergency is, of course, remaining calm, and the
best way to enable this is to be prepared ahead of time. Think of these
emergency procedures as evacuation plans from a burning building. They
need to be clear and succinct enough for someone to follow under enormous
pressure, and should anticipate and warn against wrong, dangerous moves
that a reader might be tempted to make during a crisis.
As we've already learned, and will no doubt keep learning, there are
a lot of things that can befall our network. So let's be ready.
Thanks,
IT Director
