Task Checklist
- Have you checked with your college’s instructional support
staff (i.e. distance learning office) for the institutional rules
re: publishing
course material online? Have you followed those rules?
- Have you included information on where and how to
access that material in a hand-out for your students or written
an email message with
the information?
- Have you designed pages that are easy to read?
- Is your site organized in a logical manner that is
easily navigated by novice and expert users?
- Do all your links work?
- Is your terminology consistent? Does the text of every
link match the heading of the destination file?
- Did you have someone else sign in as a student and
critique your course?
- Does your site meet your institution’s accessibility rules?
- Does it load quickly and consistently into all the
browsers your students might need?
- Does it support the scenario?
- Have you or your college provided for student support?
